Quake II is the popular first-person shoot-em-up spirited that has been ported to MacOS X. The download includes the software and OpenGL renderer plug-ins. The source inscribe is available. What's New: Version 1.0.8 fixes the following: Rewritten event handler. Solves performance problems that some users were experiencing. Rewritten audio CD driver. Solves issue with interrupted audio CD playback that some users were experiencing. Added living for MP3 and MP4 playback. Added texture RAM gibe. Quake II will revert to the software renderer on failure. Added option to switching between normal and overbright gamma (variable"gl_overbright_gamma"). Added again living for the multitexture reference (via variable "gl_arb_multitexture", the Classic MacOS reading uses "gl_ext_multitexture". This way multitexturing fundament't be activated by default.). Mission packs fundament now be dragged onto the application icon even if Quake II is already running. Added startup dialog for command-line parameters. Added living for AppleScript. New help. F12 cardinal will no longer eject medias if you bind a compel to it. Many minor changes.
