McHurricane is a Macintosh hurricane/storm tracking utility, coating the Atlantic Basin and Eastern Pacific including Hawaii, (13 degrees West to 174 degrees West Longitude, and 0 degrees to 48 degrees North Latitude). Nine storms of 100 plots each may be unfold at one time. Storm plots pot be added, deleted, or inserted. Track plot name are shown, and a selected plot's data may be individually displayed including distances to quaternary custom user installed city locations.Maps and storm data may be printed, and map areas copied to the Clipboard. Preferences may be localize for the default map, plot symbols, and storm-strength wander circles, 12 or 24 hour clock expose and time zone identification, mileage in nautical or statute format, atmospheric pressure in inches of mercury or millibars, storm logs and tracks displayed in selectable matching colors, entrance of quaternary custom city locations, and various other launch and screen layout options. McHurricane versions 3.x and later are Year 2000 (Y2K) compliant. What's New: Version 5.2 adds the following: Do to changes at the National Hurricane Center's website an update to the advisory downloader was needed. Updated the Advisory import feature do to a duo of microscopical changes in the NHC's advisories. Added another rootage for downloading advisories. (NHC's public ftp expanse)
